At 6:06 am this morning, the testMonkey clan welcomed its newest member: Amber Christina… er… testMonkey. She weighed in at 7 lbs 7 oz. Momma and baby are doing great and seem to be getting along just fine (none of that “mother eating their young” nonsense here -no sir!). See for yourself:

To think of two people that just a few years ago were running around my backyard throwing food at each other and watching mesmerized as I rubbed ice cream on myself having a child is frightening really. Not so much because of their derelict past but more because it means that I may one day have to become a…shudder…responsible adult too.

Congratulations! You guys are in for the best ride of your life. Enjoy every second, even the bad ones, i.e. sleepless nights, endless crying, baby puke, nasty diapers, etc… Before you know it that little grape will crawl up and hug you while saying “Dada” or “Mama” over and over. Its moments like that that make it all worth it.
Hello there I was glad to see how happy three people can be while looking tired as can be. The biggest congrads to the both of you. I’m glad to here that I can call this little one “Amber” unstead of baby.
What a doll! How blessed you are! We would do it all over again if we could but alas and alack, we’re too ancient. Enjoy all the giggles and tantrums alike, they are over too soon.
