winter goals
We are on the cusp of winter, and there are a few firsts I’d like to try this winter:
1) snowshoeing. Basically hiking on snow, snowshoeing is something I’ve never done and would like to try.
2) cross-country skiing. Ditto.
The only problem I have is simple: I have no idea how to even begin to get these two things done. Any suggestions?

Well here is an idea - when we are up north around Christmas you can escape the in-laws to go and do one or possible both activities. Check out the site for more info. http://www.utah.com/ski/family_winter_activities.htm
Try Hansen’s Mountaineering in Provo, I think they rent all that jive, or at least they could direct you to the right place.
Buy lots of cocaine (aka “snow”) and spread it all over your parking lot, strap your tennis rackets to your feet, and go to town! (Actually, my dad does snowshoeing back east, so I can ask him if you want me to.)
