heli fun
It’s no secret that I hate flying. A lot. So why on earth would I volunteer to take a helicopter that happens to be smaller than my Nissan -a lot smaller- into the air with a camera? Some possibilities:
• I have a death wish
• I have a disbelief in gravity
• I have a disbelief in mortality
• I have a responsibility to get the news to the public
At any rate, I had a chance to go up in a two seater with A Flight Above helicopter flight training school to get flood coverage for KCSG TV. And I have to say, after the first wave of nausea subsided, it was pretty cool and quite comfortable. I must do this again. Soon. Very fun.
For those that expressed concern, the family of testMonkey is fine and not affected by the severe flooding in the area (aside from having to work like a billion hours straight). For a highlight reel of the flight, update to the latest version of QuickTime (here) and grab the file size right for you:

Great work for a ground pounder! Birds eye view the only way to see the whole picture. IF a next time clean your lens and watch the bubble you have to look through if they let you. Keep the lunch down and keep smiling!
Well, it was raining some. I’ll push my luck and get out to clean the windshield mid-flight next time.
J you moron.
jk.
and by the way, cross referencing to my post, you are a multimedia minor thanks to the “dreamweaver, photoshop, illustrator, and indesign for retards” exemption.
Dude, nice design. Next time I’m in SG, you’ll have to show me the whole CSS idea.
peace.
