next year’s superbowl ad?

Grab the latest version of QuickTime (here) and take a gander at the new testMonkey designs TV commercial. Post some comments on what I should have done differently ’cause I can tweak and replace at will. And dearest sister, you’ll need sound to make the most of my self-serving purposes.

See it here.

Why not just leave “websites” there for each peice, and then have the other copy slide in? I dont have speakers, so if its an audio thing, i wouldn’t know. I like the feeling of it though. Maybe the only other thing would be to add a light of some sort on your background, just to see how it would look (ie jumpback, or any free bed, you can make the highlights turn into a light. ask me for more info if you’re really interested.) That way your static background turns into a motion bed, but i almost like the static-ness of your background, so thats just an option.

    just some mo-graph-design ideas.

It really is a fun commercial, footstompingly so. In fact, it has the potential to cause spontaneous hodowns in the middle of TV station control rooms that can cause the commercial to suddenly quit playing and leave a room full of underpaid, underappreciated, and, according to certain acting G.M.’s, untalented people to scramble to get back into a live show a minute early. Just one problem, some of the aforementioned people really are untalented and not too bright and can’t seem to get it to encode and play without popping and skipping in the audio.
